Facteus

(fakt–ē–əs)

Built on facts. Built for decisions.

Every day, billions of consumer purchase decisions tell the real story of the American economy – who’s spending, where, and why. Facteus turns that signal from real-world transactions into the confidence to act.

How we got here

Uncovering the untapped potential of transaction data

Facteus was born out of the payments industry itself. After years building secure, high-scale data systems for the country’s largest banks and payment processors, the founding team knew the data behind the trillions of dollars moving through the consumer economy every year could be the secret to understanding business growth like never before. That work gave us an inside-out understanding of the U.S. payments ecosystem and a front-row seat to a glaring problem: the richest behavioral signal in the economy was out of reach for the people who needed it most.

So we built the pipes to unlock it – secure, scalable, and compliant from day one. Today, Facteus operates the largest compliant U.S. consumer transaction dataset, serving Fortune 500 brands, agencies, hedge funds and consultancies.

Turning transaction insights into decision-grade AI

Most data platforms stop at “insight.” A nice chart. A trend line. And then it’s on you to figure out what to do with it.

We think that’s only half the job. Facteus is building toward a future of Decision-Grade AI – outputs that close the gap between seeing a signal and acting on it.  We’re talking about recommended actions tied to real spending shifts. Scenario models that show what happens if you move now vs. wait. Confidence intervals so you know how much to trust the signal. And economic impact sizing so you can quantify the opportunity before you commit.

We don’t want to be the platform that tells you a competitor’s same-store sales jumped 12% last quarter. We want to be the one that shows you which three markets are driving the shift, models what happens to your share if the trend holds, and sizes the revenue at stake if you don’t respond.

The future of Facteus is moving our customers from informed to ready to act.
